Pentax Optio WS80 10MP Waterproof Digital Camera

Pentax Optio WS80 10MP Waterproof Digital Camera

For as long as I can remember, I have always lived a bit of a rough-and-tumble, active life. I started surfing when I was 12, snow boarding when I was 14, played varsity basketball when I was 15, and started rock climbing when I was 16. As an adult, the trend has continued. However, one other trend has also continued: my love for quality electronics. The Pentax WS80 provides the perfect mix of a quality camera, a great color scheme (I am a born and raised San Francisco Giants fan, after all), and the durability people with an active lifestyle need to keep up with them whether they’re at the top of Mount Everest or snorkeling off the North Shore.  When..

Travelite Portable Luggage Scale & Flashlight

by Suren A. on February 5, 2010

Travelite Portable Luggage Scale & Flashlight

Travelite Portable Luggage Scale & Flashlight

Air travel is more stressful than ever.  Security checks and flight anxiety are a bearable part of any air-bound trip, but not an overweight baggage charge.  I fly a few times a year and like many fliers, I’ve had to swap item from my luggage into my carry on, or just dump things in the trash.  My bathroom scale may be the culprit, but I should know better and use a scale intended for bulk items.

Travelite’s entry in to the portable scale market is the Travelite Luggage Scale.  The lightweight and ergonomically designed scale is a fantastic price-point item.  A T-bar design and nylon strap ensure an easy lift.   [Read More...]

Canon Pixma MX860 Office All-in-One Color Printer

by Ysani M. on February 1, 2010

Canon Pixma MX860 Office All-in-One Color Printer

Canon Pixma MX860 Office All-in-One Color Printer

I have a very small apartment, so you could imagine how limited my office space is. After countless hours of looking comparing and testing out all in one printers I have finally made a decision. The Canon pixma MX860 was my choice. Why Canon? Reputation, quality and most of all Price.

I won’t bore you with everything this all in one machine can do. I will give you the best of what it can do for my needs and the dreaded cons of how this machine could have been improved. Now scanning we all need a scanner, why? Backing up important documents to jpg. or pdf. Or editing photos etc. The scanners max res. is 2400×4800dpi with a color depth of 48/24 bits. Putting the scanner through its paces I scanned three high res photos into Photoshop with no problems. Very good color and sharpness reproduction. [Read More...]

Belkin F5L007 Washable Mouse

by Cathy B. on December 15, 2009

Belkin Washable Mouse

Belkin Washable Mouse

For weeks after watching that one Lysol commercial about the germs commonly found on household surfaces– in your bed, in the bathtub, on the kitchen counter– I imagined all the little microbes crawling around the items I made use of on a daily basis. I used many an antibacterial wipe. Of course, my germaphobe phase did pass. I do live in New York City after all, and living in fear of germs would drive you insane—or at least keep you off the subway. However, the reality is that we live in a world where fears of the swine flu, germs, and bacteria are all over the media and ever present in our daily lives. There’s no merit to going crazy over it, but anything that can give you a little peace of mind without too much difficulty is a definite plus. The Belkin Washable Mouse is a great mix of utility and innovation in a stylish and amazingly easy to clean little package. [Read More...]

Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks

by Marvin M. on December 10, 2009

Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse

Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse

Like many young professionals, I’m always on the go. I travel nonstop around this city, running errands, getting work done, or meeting friends. I also like to stay organized; I like to sync my iPod or Blackberry, send emails, check my twitter and surf the web. This is why it is important for me to have a good laptop and mouse; I need to be able to get work done wherever I am. Now, it takes a lot to get me to put down my hard earned cash on a product; it either has to be a very good product or vital to my productivity. Fortunately, the Logitech V220 wireless mouse is both. Beaba Babycook Baby Food Maker

by Cathy B. on November 18, 2009

Beaba Babycook Baby Food Maker

Beaba Babycook Baby Food Maker

In a world where hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, and preservatives have become some of the dirtiest of words in the vernacular, it is more common than ever that parents and caregivers are choosing to make baby food themselves. Not only is it healthier, but it also usually ends up to be more cost effective and less wasteful. When I worked as a babysitter, I was left to use the blender and some sandwich bags to prepare fruits and vegetables for a teething child. Peel, wash, steam, mash, freeze, wash, and repeat. It would take hours to prepare food for the week. Today, there’s no need for that extra work. With the award winning Beaba Babycook Baby Food Maker, you can keep your baby healthy and happy, while saving yourself some gray hairs and definitely a few bucks in the long run. [Read More...]
