This durable and well designed Digital Camera for kids aged 3 and up is a perfect gift idea for the upcoming holiday season, family vacation or trip. The 1.3 MP quality is equal to some cell phone cameras and is good for prints that are 4” x 6” large. 64 MB of internal memory means that on a lower quality setting (0.3 MP) it can store up to 500 images.

The overall design and functionality make it easy to use with its large buttons that are labeled in a kid friendly way. There are 2 viewfinders so that kids have an easier more comfortable way to view the subject other than just the LCD screen. Rubber grips on the sides provide a firm grip as well as good protection against scrapes or a fall.

There is no software required to load the pictures onto the computer. Once you plug in the camera via the supplied USB cable you can just drag and drop the images onto your computer.

Cons: 1.5” LCD screen is really tiny for an adult to view so after the pictures are taken your best bet is waiting till they are on the computer to see.

It’s a little bit clunky and big. They really could have scaled it down to be smaller.

Overall this is a great idea for any kid that expresses interest in photography or any parent that wants to give there kid a creativity tool. I would recommend this for any child in the appropriate age range and think that it would be an interesting and nostalgic way to view things from a child’s perspective.
